First few days in Copenhagen

This is Biyun from MFZU. I will be an exchange student at University of Copenhagen in Denmark from Feb 1st to Jun 30th,studyding four courses for English majors on English grammar, literature, culture and society. I have fourteen ZU schoolmates to be in Copenhagen together with me. I am keeping the blog to share with you my experiences in Denmark and travelling around Europe. Hope to keep in contact with the big Melton family anyway. :-)

While arriving at the Copenhagen Airport, we discover the above sign that says "arrivals at Copenhagen" in Danish, English, Japanese and Chinese. We were a little amused because the Chinese characters are written in a very funny way, just like the handwriting of a six-year old child and very cute. So we guess it is the land of fairy tales after all, lol. (maybe only the Chinese fellows can understand what's funny about the sign :D).

On the right is a view of my room in Copenhagen, just in the center of the city. I am quite lucky to get such a good location. I live together with my Landlady, just as all of my ZU schoolmates do. She's very nice to me and helps me getting around, introducing me the shops, supermarkets, metro stations and so on.

At the bottom is the first meal I cook for myself in Copenhagen: stir-fried chicken with potato, potato-mushroom soup, and rice. Unlike the merry and happy life in China, eating out is pretty expensive here. I am a pretty bad cook, but I'm trying to make progress, lol.
It it still snowing in Copenhagen, temprature is around -5° centigrade. The snow makes the city adorable. But because it is cold outside I have to summon up a great deal of courage before I take my "heavy" (literally) camera with me. So I will try to come up with some photos of the city view later. :-)

Have a n i ce week~!
